Captain’s Armbands for Major Belgian Cycling Classics
Earlier this year, we produced the captain’s armbands for several major Belgian cycling events — including iconic races such as Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, Gent–Wevelgem and the Tour of Flanders. A project where speed, precision and reliability were essential.
The organisers required strong elastic bands that could withstand intensive use while remaining comfortable during the events. For this project, we used a wide 9 cm elastic, which we cut to the exact required length in our production. The bands were then printed with the correct race-specific text and stitched closed according to the requested finish.
Each function had its own colour:
- Red for organisation staff
- Yellow for the men’s races
- Purple for the women’s races
The armbands were worn by various staff members along the course — including organisation crews, press and support teams — ensuring clear and immediate identification during the race.
Thanks to our modern machinery and streamlined workflow, we were able to deliver a large series within a short timeframe, fully according to the customer’s specifications.
