Custom-printed elastic for Waer Waters
For Waer Waters wellness resort in Groot-Bijgaarden, Devos Arrotex produced a 10 cm wide printed elastic band, specially designed for the backrests of loungers.
Waer Waters needed an elastic band that would fit easily around the backrest, be practical in daily use and provide sufficient space for clear, legible printing. Since a standard elastic band could not meet these requirements, a custom solution was developed.
A wide elastic band with custom printing
The elastic band combines several functions in one product. Its width of 10 cm makes the printed message clearly visible, while its elasticity allows the band to be easily fitted around and removed from the backrest.
The message from Waer Waters is positioned precisely where guests need to see it. No loose signs or permanent attachments are required, helping to preserve the tidy appearance of the wellness environment.
Three properties were central to the development:
- A suitable fit for the backrest
- Clear and legible printing
- Easy and flexible use by staff
The result is a practical textile solution that effectively combines comfort and communication.

This project shows how a specific request can be translated into a simple yet functional custom-made product. By adapting the dimensions, elasticity and printing to the application, Waer Waters received a solution that can be used immediately on its loungers.
